Afro-descendant businesses in Switzerland.

How we checked

1. A research workbook of 23 October 2026 collected 223 records from directories, websites and public interviews.
2. We publish only businesses whose founders speak about their African roots in public, in their own words or in an interview. A listing in another directory is not enough.
3. On 24 October 2026 we opened every website and source again. ‘Checked twice’ means it still named the business on that day.
4. Businesses that appear only in other directories are shown separately, as ‘listed in another directory, not yet confirmed by us’, until we find a public statement by the founder. Records with dead websites or an unclear Swiss presence are left out. We do not record or publish anyone’s sexual orientation, gender identity or other sensitive personal details.
