This special initiative showcases the remarkable art of Jean Amil Augustin, a Haitian painter whose works explore the complex interplay of joy, reality, and nostalgia, brought to life through vibrant acrylics.
These pieces, created during his time in Basel from 2002 to 2017, reflect both his personal experiences in Europe and vivid memories of his homeland.
