AfroSwissters is a Swiss registered non-profit association dedicated to fostering connection, mutual support, and both personal and collective development. Rooted in empowering Afro-descendant women, we also welcome allies who engage with respect, intention, and shared responsibility. We create carefully held spaces for dialogue, cultural exchange, and community building. Through curated programmes and gatherings, we strengthen belonging, visibility, and empowerment across generations and backgrounds. To create structured, welcoming spaces for Afro-descendant women to connect, exchange, and support one another primarily in Switzerland, and, where relevant, in a broader context.
Through our work, we encourage connection, reflection, and growth, and aim to support individuals in building meaningful links across the African diaspora and with the continent. Our formats are designed to help participants feel more connected, informed, and equipped in their personal and collective journeys, regardless of where they were born or raised.
